A big milestone for Just the Job

There’s some exciting progress to share from Just the Job! After several years of fundraising and planning, work has finally begun on their new headquarters and specialist facilities in Richmond. 

The £1.2 million Big Green Build project will give Just the Job a dedicated space for the many activities they offer to the vulnerable adults they support, with more room and improved facilities for everyone to make the most of.

Bringing the Big Green Build to life

Getting to this point has taken a lot of hard work, fundraising and support from the local community and beyond. Rising costs have added to the challenge, making the start of construction an especially important moment for everyone involved.

As landlord, we’re proud to have supported the project, alongside the many local people, businesses and organisations who have helped bring it this far.

Just the Job has appointed Scanlan Construction Ltd as the principal contractor for the build, which is expected to take around 41 weeks to complete. We’re looking forward to seeing things take shape over the coming months!

There’s still more to do

While construction is now underway, there’s still fundraising to do to get everything ready. Alongside completing the building, Just the Job needs support with things like kitchens, furniture, decorating and specialist toilet facilities.

Every contribution will help turn the new headquarters into a welcoming, practical space where the people Just the Job supports can enjoy activities, develop their skills and thrive.
